I was told that there is a new method of DNA testing called
"Touch DNA" Can anyone give me information on this testing method ? I would like some indepth information if possible. Thank You. TomC |

I may not have much insight into this topic, but, I have processed for touch DNA.
We had a serial burglar in our area. After sending tech after tech out to these scenes to search for fingerprints, it was decided that we would instead collect swabs of items/areas touched by the suspect in order to collect touch DNA. Our state lab agreed to analyze these swabs for DNA, because it was a serial case. From what I understand, other agencies have done the same. StaceyJ |
