Hi there jaimejh I'm the administrator of that forum and it is aimed at anyone who is intrested in Forensic Science and the TV show CSI where you can find any information on Forensics if it isn't in the forum you can post a message asking one of the members

also look up www.crime-scene-investigator.net if thats not it search it its a great site for all kinds of forensics i found an article on differing methods for stringing.

I am a student currently and these are very helpful

www.investigation.discovery.com
www.library.trutv.com

These are some of my fave sites, and are very informative with a huge array of lots of subjects.
